Project Earth (update)

Last Thursday Katie stepped on a plain heading for Ottawa in Canada.
Together with thirteen other people from Project earth she will meet up again with the famous ex-astronaut
Buzz Aldrin. Earlier this year she also met him in Switzerland for Cern.
Katie is still impressed about that meeting because after all he was one of the first men on te moon.
Along with the other thirteen she will set out for a expedition to the Canadian Arctic to investigate the influences
we have on the eco system. Then they will travel to Pond Inlet and set up a camp for three days there to experience
the Ice and the Polar See.
Katie is excited about meeting the local Inuit’s to hear and see how they live there life there.
Katie hopes that this expedition will give her enough inspiration for the future because she wants to continue her
work for the nature and the aspects of climate change and Global warming.
