Ebba Awards 2011

Katie will be the Special Guest for the 2011 EBBA AWARDS ceremony. She will also perform during the ceremony,
as well as many 2011 winners. The EBBA AWARDS ceremony will be taking place at the opening of the Eurosonic
Noorderslag music festival in Groningen, the Netherlands on 12 January 2011.
The ceremony will be recorded and broadcast by Dutch National Television (NOS/NTR) and will also receive
European coverage through TV channels and radio stations associated with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and others.
Katie herself also won this award with her debuut album Call off the Search in 2005.

With the European Border Breakers Award – which are funded by the EU Culture Programme - the European Commission
and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) wish to highlight the success of 10 debuting European artists in selling albums and
touring outside their home territory. The prize aims to stimulate the cross-border circulation of artists' works and to highlight
Europe's great musical diversity.

Update 13.01.11

Last night the Ebba Awards ceremony took place in Groningen. Katie herself did sing 2 songs.
"Nine Million Bicycles" en "The One I Love Is Gone".
The broadcasting of the Ceremony will take place tomorrow at 11:35pm on Nederland 3.
