A special message from Katie
Today Saturday June 12 was Katie the guest artist at Tros Muziekcafe.
A lot of fans and visitors of our forum had come to Amsterdam to see Katie live.
Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon she arrived together with Alice from AW Promotions at the studio.
Outside Katie took some time to shoot a picture and gave some autographs to her fans.
Once we were inside she treated us with wonderful acoustic versions of "I Cried For You" -
" The Flood" en " I'd Love To Kill You. Between songs she was interviewed by Corne Klijn who asked
some questions about the new album and the new sound due to William Orbit.
He asked her who the person was in the song "I'd Love To Kill You" but she said that that was a secret.
Thanks to the always friendly as ever cooperation of AW Promotions we and some other fans were given
the oppertunity to take a group photo.
On our request Katie was so kind to record a special message for all her other fans.
She told us that she had to leave right away after her performance to fly to Denmark where she will
perform on the Sunday. And indeed as soon as the last song was finished she rushed to a minivan and
left quickly.
It was a lovely afternoon with a very open and spontaneous looking Katie who probably would had loved
to stay a bit longer in Amsterdam.
